He is an argentine multi-instrumentalist, a singer and an author. She is a
founding member of the comedy-musical ensemble called Les Luthiers.

Jorge Maronna joined I Musicisti while he was still a kid and assisted
Gerardo Masana and Carlos Iraldi to construct the first informal musical
instrument called contrachitarrone de gamba. In the year 1967, Jorge Maronna
was part of the four persons that left the group and formed the Les Luthiers.
There, he and Masana composed most of the music for the early
performances and till today, Jorge Maronna is still writing music pieces for
the group always together with one of his band mates.
As a member of the Luthiers, he has been a composer, lyricist,
scriptwriter, a singer as well as a multi-instrumentalist. He has been also
conducting practices in the past years. He reportedly has played the total of
35 musical instruments for the ensemble, including the bagpipes, the banjo and
the viola.
