The sralai is a wind musical instrument that is used in the pinpeat of Cambodia. It increased fourfold reed is produced of palm leaf and the body has a little conical bore. The instrument’s cousin, the western oboe has a double reed and a conical bore. The pinpeat instruments move to the sralai’s pitch and the players of this instrument are always trained to play continuously without stopping for breath or rest.
