Khaled Habib El-Kebich was born on the 24th January 1970 in
Tiaret, Algeria. He is a song-writer, composer and an actor. He composes and
plays a genre of music that is both modern and traditional. He developed a
personal musical mix that he blends various musical styles and music every part
of the world and manufactures thrilling and exclusive musical pattern that is
both innovative and charming. His music can be described as having the
combination influences of reggae, jazz, blues, soul, funk and Latin rhythms and
also folk music from different corners of the globe. The same applies to the
mix of musical instrument with all of them ranging from the traditional drums
of the country to the electrical sound capes that are available in the country.

Habib has been taking part in many European festivals like the Falun folk
Music Festival, Roskilde Festival, ArtGenda Festival,
Stockholm Water Festival, Re:Orient Festival, Folk o Folk Festival, Verlden i
Norden Festival, 550 Fatih Istanbul Festival and many more festivals.
His artistic field is
up to the level of performing and directing his own shows and also composing
music for films and theatre dramas like the La Castina set up at the Swedish
Royal Dramatic Theatre under the direction of Robert Lepage in the year 1998.
