Venda-folk
music was also documented when black music in South Africa was being known.
During in the late 1960s (and, more considerably during in the late 70s) saw a
flourishing in Venda-speaking musicians. This was primarily influenced by the
introduction of a Venda radio channel.

Irene
Mawela (who had seen singing during the 60s and 70s with group such as Sweet Sixteens, Mahotella Queens and Dark City Sisters) considerably impacted folk
and current Vanda music, in spite choral recording in Zulu, Sotho and Xhosa
dialects. The release of Mawela known
as Khanani Yanga, was one of the very
popular Venda-folk music albums of that year. After some long years, Mawela came back to the South African
music scene with Tlhokomema Sera,
released in December 2007. Mawela’s
current numbers such as Nnditsheni and
Mme Anga Khosti were very renowned. Solomon Matase who is popular for his hits
known as Vho i fara Phele and Ntshavheni.
Eric Mukhese, Alpheus Ramavhea, Mundalamo,
and Adziambei ensemble were also
popular for their supports to Venda music. The latter ensemble still remains to
release music with great achievement, including a current album produce by Colbert Mukwevho who has been featured
with Venda music for over 20 years, beginning with 80s album known as Mulovha namusi na matshelo, include hit
songs like zwa mutani wavho and ndo takala hani which continue
well-known with Venda and Pedi’s. He was raised up in a family of music. His
father who is known as Christopher
Muwwevho who was the then leader of the renowned band known as Thrilling
Artist, used to involve him during his young age.
Paul Mulaudzi, Malondo Ramulongo TAKZIT,
Humbulani Ramagwedzha, Takalani Mudau, Rapson Mbilummbi Rambuwani, , Burning
Doctor, Just ice, Lufuno Dagada,
Tshidino Ndou, TMan Gavini, Jahman Chiganja, Khakhathi and Friends,
Maduvha Madima, Mizo Phyll, Killah Gee,
and Jininka were other artists.
Another
singer who is well-known in South African music market is known as Tshidino Ndou, a reggae musician who is
also owner of Vhadino Entertainment
music cooperation. Tshidino was born
and grew up in Tshakhuma, a rural
village in South African in the Limpopo region. As so far he has two albums
known as Ndi do fan na inwi in the
year 2009, and till death do us part and Nne
Ndi Nne in the year 2010 and also I am what I am. His song Ni songo nyadza
which refers as do not undermine other people’s religious featuring a Venda
reggae representation known as Humbulani

Tshidino

produced their entrance hot album known as Ro
Swika which refers to as we are back. The album encloses a contentious
chant like Ri ya groova which was
extensively known as Ndo Fara Mudifho.
He has also released a hoy single which is known as Ri Khou phusha life which has already made a mark on radios and
newspapers. The compete album is intended to be released in the year 2012 and
will feature other prominent Takalani Mudau of baby fusheani popularity and the
Burning Doctor of A lu mutwe popularity.
Tshidino
is also only an artist but also a notable film producer who is more renowned in
the Vendawood film industry in the Limpopo region of South Africa. He also
plays the personality of Vho-Mulingo
in Vho-Mulingo entertainment. Some of
other movies he produced also include Hu
bvuma na fhasi, Mathaithai Hu do dzula nnyi, and Mphemphe i a netisa.
Currently
Tshidino is busy with his long
awaited movie known as The Facebook which is already on everybody’s mouth. The
vastly rated Vendawood filmmaker told Mo Flava in the Morning Flavaw concert on YFM radio station of
South Africa that the movies has already made hype and it is expected to cause
problem in the film industry as it is dealing with the Facebook issues. Tshidino is the owner of Dzhatsha film and Vhadino Entertainment Industries.
