Reggae
music is one of the most renowned genres of music in Kenya. Element of reggae
are often combined with the local hip pop and pop music, but yet there have
been many main reggae artists in Kenya. The most renowned local reggae artists
is the late Mighty King Kong, the new reggae artist priest fari is the musician
to watch out for. With his two albums known as warrior and pressure under his
belt, priest fari is doubtfully the next big thing in Kenyan reggae scene.

song remains the original Jamaican reggae. Others are Malle, Prince Otach and
Jahkey. Reggae Naya, is one of the biggest reggae musicians from Kenya and
abroad who is based in Paris. His last album, which is shine was released in
Orange Street, Kingston, Jamaica, in the year 2012. The other records are known
as freedom, Mau Mau and Black and White. A new record called Mama, which comes
up on 2013.
