The 19th century saw the peak of the cabaret pattern with Yvetee Guibert as a major musician. The period lasted through to the 1930s and saw likes of Edith Piaf, Jean Sablon, Marie-Louise Damien, Marie Dubas, Charles Trenet, Maurice Chavalier, Tino Rossi, Felix Mayol and Lucienne Boyer.
