French) and it is still very famous in France. Some of the most significant
musicians include; Leo Ferre, Edith Piaf, Mireille Mathieu, Jacques Brel, Salvatore
Adamo, Gilbert Becaud, Charles Aznavour, Geroges Brassens, Monique Serf
(Barbara) and Dalida plus the more art-house artists such as Brigitte Fontaine.
Also during the 1950s one of the more representatives of Montmartre cabaret
singers was Suzanne Robert.
