The
yeye is a pattern of renowned music that came from France in the early 1960s.
The ye-ye trend movement has its roots in the radio programme Salut les
copains, which was first aired in October 1959. Most popular yeye musicians
include Claude Francois, Johnny Hallyday, and Richard Anthony, Dick Rivers,
Eddy Mitchell and the famous girls like France Gall, Sylvie Vartan, Sheila and
artists who fuse different music kinds such Dalida or Chantal Goyal. These were
famous female teen idols, and include Francoise Hardy, who was the first to
write her own songs.
