Réda Tamni popular with his stage name, Reda Taliani was born in the year
1980 in El Biar, Algiers, Algeria. He is a rai musician. He lived in Marseille,
France for a long time. The music he plays blends the chaabi music, rai music
and the traditional music patterns of the Maghreb and several of his music
portrays the realities and aspiration of the youth of the country, Algeria.

Career
His family originated from Constantinem, Algeria and he grew up in Kolea,
a town that is in Tipaza region of the northern part of the country. His
musical profession began when he was 5 years of age, which was when he joined
the Kolea Conservatory of Arab and Andalusian Music, and it was there that he
learned how to play some musical instruments and passed through in bthe playing
of the mandolin. He was enticed by the rai music at his early age and he
decided to leave the Andalusian music totally and engaged himself to the rai
music. The name Taliani, which means, the Italian, is the nickname that was
given to him when he was 8 years of age, and that was because of the way he
used to dress.
The first album he dropped was called Ache Dani Elwahd Tayra, which he dropped in the year 2000 with the
producer of the music, Issame and Eleulma Phone. He stayed
with the label of the music till the year 2004, which was when he relocated to
Dounia Production label and dropped his successful album called Joséphine, and this was done in that same
year. since the release of the album, he discovered success and popularity in
the country with Les Algériens des Kamikazes and Khobz Dar. The music he made was hugely influenced by the style of the
following people of the country; Khaled and Sahraoui and also by the
music style of Bob Marley and Santana.
