Cheb Tarik with the real name Tarik Belgot, is a musician from Algeria. He is now based in France and he signed with the Universal Music Group. The first hit music he dropped called Reggae rai was a cover and a tribute to the music Reggae Night by Cheb Hasni, a music player that was murdered in Oran, Algeria by the Islamic fundamentalists.

In the year 2001, he made a contribution in the compilation Big Men, which was a blend of the Reggae and the Rai music. He also took part in the music called "J'ai vu trop de frères partir" on the Album called "Du mal a s'confier" that was made by Scred Connexion.
