Ndue Sinishtaj

Ndue Sinishtaj was born on the 24^th August 1944. He is a poet, and a translator from Albania. He was a former catholic priest.

Ndue was born in Ksheve, a region of Malesija, Montenegro. The penname Noke, he got from the parents and the family, the name was already being used by the people of Albania in Montenegro. He is known as a Antonio or Nua. Ndue is from a large family of Malësija, which is known as Shytaj, having about 60 members in it; they lived together in a large house that is known as Tower of Shytaj. He is the 4^th child of the 13 children of the Sinishtaj family. Pastoral life was among the main source of living in the family, and that was the profession that Ndue did when he was a child.

He started his primary school in Tuzi and for the fact that the teachers in the school were speaking only the Ghed dialect; he went towards the capital city of the country to complete his primary and secondary school.

For him and all the members if the family, it was a great honor to have him nominated as a priest in the Catholic Church and the coming back in Malesija. He served as a priest for 5 good years in Gusija, Tuzi and Hot. He is popular with the oratorical skill while he was serving as a priest. After five years of serving as a priest, he left to create his own family and home and he is today living in Switzerland.

Years after he had left the priesthood, he published a prose book and also an autobiographical diary, or can also be called Confession made to justify act. The book was given the title, “Confessions of a rebellious priest”.
