Arjan Beqaj was born on the 25th August 1975 in Prizren. He is an ex footballer from Albania. He played for 7 footbal clubs and his country in a 19 years career, and he is now the goalkeeping coach of Anorthosis Famagusta.

Early Club Career
Beqaj started his football career in Kosovo with a local team known as Liria Prizren in the year 1992. Then he moved to Tirane, in his country at the starting part of the year 1995 to finish his university education and there he was to play football for Partizani Tirana. He played in his country to two to three years before he left to join OFI Crete after he had been called to play for the Under-21 national team of the country.
Career in Greece
He stayed in OFI Crete for six seasons and he played 129 games for the club and scored a goal for the club in the 2000/2001 season. He then made a move to Ionikos where he played 83 matches for the club in three seasons before finishing his 9 year spell in Greece.
Career in Cyprus
Beqaj was one of the footballers that assisted Anorthosis to get to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2008–09. He was declared the man of the match in the second leg of the champions league qualifiers match that was played against Olympiacos. He made key saves in the game. The game finished 1-0 in the favour of Olympiacos, but with the aggregate of the game, they qualified ahead of Olympiacos. The team was the first team from Cyprus to have ever qualified to the group stage of the Champions League.
International Career
Beqaj was born in the city of Prizren, SFR Yugoslavia, though he is from Albania and e became the first choice goalkeeper of the countrysince legendary goalkeeper Foto Strakosha retired from both the international and club football in the year 2005. Since then he has played 44 games for the national team of his country.
