Armend Dallku

Armend Dallku was born on the 16th June 1983 in Pristina he is footballer from Albania and he plays the role of a central midfielder for his club, Vorskla Poltava in the Ukrainian Premier League. He was a member of th e national team of his country.

Biography

Dallku was born in Vushtrri, SFR Yugoslavia.

Clubs Career

Dallku started his career at the KF Kosova Vushtrri, before he was moved to KF Prishtina in the country. His professional football career began in the year 2003 when he put pen to paper to play for Prishtina. He was there all through 2002/03 season. In the year 2004 he made a move to Elbasani and played the total of 25 matches for the team in all the competitions. In the summer of the year 2005, Dallku joined the Ukrainian club called Vorskla Poltava. There he became one of the key players of the team in the defending line of the squad. He bagged two goals for the team during the 2006/07 season. He played with  two players from his country; Debatik Curri and Ahmed Januzi.

International Career

Dallku was called up to play for the national team of his country by the coach of the national team, Hans-Peter Briegel for the match that was played against a very strong Ukrainian national team on the 9th February 2005. The national coach decided to start him on the first match of his career. Even though he performed well in the game, he was not able to stop Ukraine from winning them with 4-0. He bagged his first goal for the countryin the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying match that was played against Malta on the 10th September 2008. The game finished 3-0 in favor of Albania. And that sent them to the top of the group ahead of the giant teams like Portugal, Sweden and Denmark. He retired from playing on the international level on the 6th March 2014 and he has played 64 games for the country and scored one goal for them.
