Paraguayan
polka mixed ternary and dual rhythms, whereas the European only uses binary.
The very popular pattern of music is the Guarania, established by the
Paraguayan artist known as Jose Asuncion Flores in the year 1925. The Guarania
achieves this by using a mixture of slow rhythms and melodies of melancholia
character. Other renowned genres of folk music in Paraguay include zarzuela and
the Paraguyan songs which are originated from the Paraguayan polka. Instances
of Paraguayan Gurania include Juan B. Mora composed Imposible, Duo Namandu
composed che Rope’a Vype, Los Indianos Mis Noches Sin Tin; Lorenzo Perez
composed Mi Dicha Lejana and others.
