Ganga: Folk Music of Croatia

The Ganga is a kind of song that is characterized by a lone composer singer that is in line with the lyrics and then others joining in for what can be best known as a wail. This is a very adoring form of composing, which is one of the reasons it has been limited in the fame to the small towns. It is though a special and autochthonous way of composing by the Croats, it is very uncommon to hear this music on the Croatian airwaves. However, many well-known Croatian musicians have added some ganga into their work.
