The fadno is a reed musical instrument of the Sami people of Scandinavia. The musical instrument features three to six finger holes and reed and appears to have no parallels among the surrounding Scandinavian people.

 The musical instrument is produced from a 15 to 30 cm length of the angelica plant from which the name of the musical instrument is derived. The reed of the instrument is unusual. The fadnos were performed with the Sami drums along with joik.
