Helmuth Lohner was born on the 24th April 1933 in the city of
Vienna. He is an Austrian actor, theatre director and was the director of the
Theatre in der Josefstadt from the year 2004 to the year 2006.

Helmuth Lohner trained as a commercial artist while he was receiving
private lessons in acting. He appeared in the movie of the country for the
first time in the year 1952 at the Stadttheatre Baden. He appeared in many
productions of Stadttheater Klagenfurt from the year 1953 to the year 1963.
He also had further engagements in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Dusseldorf
and the city of Zurich.
Helmuth Lohner was married to a German actress called Susanne Cramer
twice and they divorced twice. He then later married the German actress called
Karin Baal and they had a daughter called Therese Lohner who is also an actress
of the country.
