Rezart Dabulla

Rezart Dabulla was born on the 24th October 1979 in Tirana. He is a footbally from Albania. He plays the role of a centre back for his club, KF Tirana  in the Albanian superliga.

Career in Lushnja

Dabulla played his first professional game with KS Lushnja in the first division league of the country in the 1996/97 seaon. He played for the team until the ending section of the season 1998/99, before he was given a file to sign and play for KF Tirana, which is the biggest club in the country. He moved to the new club when he was 19 after he has entered the senior team of his previous club in the previous season. 

Career in KF Tirana

Dabulla had quick success in the new team, even though he was playing with footballers like Nevil Dede, Alpin Gallo, Elvis Sina and Alban Tafaj. After playing about 200 games for the club, he decided to make a move out of the club to play for KS Vllaznia Shkoder before the beginning part of the Kategoria superiore 2006/07 season.

Career in Vllaznia

The german coach, Ulrich Schulze liked Dabulla’s mode of playing football and also his character. He was a big part of the team’s defense that included footballers that were from his country like Admir Teli and Safet Osja and Montenegran Nikola Vukčević.. after the season with Vllaznia, Dabulla made his mind up to move to KS KS Shkumbini Peqin club.

He was bought to lead the defense of the team, together with experienced footballer, Lorenc Pasha at his first ever football club, Lushnja. With his solid experience and defensive form for several season, the club finished in the fifth position of the league table in that season.

Return to Tirana

After a good and successful season with the former club, he was purchased by KF Tirana, a club that he had played for before. He was brought into the club by the Bosnian coach of the club Blaz Sliskovic and a new chairman of the club Refik Halili to substitute the gap defence that was left in the team by Endurit Vrapi and Engert Bakalli to their big rivals, KF Elbasani as well as the retirement of the legendary defender of the team, Gentian Hajdari. The 2008/09 season was a big success for Debulla as he assisted his club in the winning of the Albanian superliga and winning the final of the Albanian Cup. He played as a centre back for the club for most of the season, together with Tefik Osmani, though he filled the left back for the club when a Nigerian defender, Abraham Alechenwu was not there to play. He played 24 league games for his club that season and assisted them in the 23rd league title, more than any other football club in the country. 

In the 2008/09 Albanian Cup, Dabulla played all the matches for the club in the competition. Despite the managerial alterations that was carried out in the team, Dabulla still managed to be in the starting 11 of the team that played the final match of the competition that bwas held in Teuta Durress’s Home ground, Stadioni Niko Dovana, in a match that was played against Flamurtari Vlore. He scored the first goal of the match in the 42nd minute of the game when he headed in a corner that was whopped in by the captain of the team Devis Mukaj. 

International Career

Dabulla has played for the national team of the country on five games from the year 1998 till the year 2004. In his early football career, he was a part of the Under-21 national team of the country, playing two official games for the country. His first match that was played for his country was on the 10th February 1999 in a friendly match that was played against Macedonia. He came into the match in the 65tgh minute of the game when the match was still 1-0 and the game finished 2-0 in favor of Albania. He was a part of the national team that played against Andorra in the Malta International Friendly Tournament in the year 2000 on the 6th February. He assisted his team to win the game comfortably with 3-0, with the goals of the match coming from the following players; Edmond Dalipi, Rudi Vata and Roland Zajmi. He was a part of the national team that played in the friendly match against Mexico in San Diego, United States. He started the match and finished , but his country was beaten 4-0. Hos last international appearance was like the first, in a match that was played against Macedonia in Prilep, Macedonia. He came into the game in the 86th minute of the match and the game ended 3-1 in favor of Macedonia.
