Naim Kryeziu was born on the 4th
January 1918 and he died on the 20th March 2010. He was a footballer
from Albania, and he was popular in Italy in the 1940s and in the 1950s.

He was born in Gjakova. Naim was a right wing
player that can run for over 100m in 11 seconds. He moved out of his town as a
young player to join his brother in Tirana, and playing his first game in the
domestic league of the country at the age of 15. With the 1939 Italian Invasio
of the country, he was noted by an Italian sports professor who took him to AS
Roma. As he was said to be an Italian with the annexion of his country, he was
permitted to register the Rome ISEF and modernly play for the club, AS Roma, it
was there that he won the Italian title in the 1941/42 season. He played for
giallorossi until the year 1948 before he made a move to A.C. Napoli. He
retired from playing football in the year 1953.
Later he began to coach; he was the head coach of
AS Roma for some time at the timeo fthe 1964/65 season as the replacement for
the former coach of the club, Juan Carlos. He became scout for the club and he
found a young Giuseppe Giannini.
Naim died in Rome at the age of 92 in the year
2010. He was the last living footballer of the first historical AS Roma
scudetto.
