first Korean music proof is old, and this has been well documented by the
surviving written materials from the 15th century and it was brought
to the heights of excellence during the Yi kings of the Joseon Dynasty. From
1905 to 1945 the imperial Japan’s capture the Korea and eliminated the Korean
music. A little post-war era reawakened the traditional and patriotic music.
During 1951, Korea was divided into Democratic People’s Republic of Korea or
North and the Republic of Korea or South Korea from which arose two different
methods to music. Korean folk music includes types of both the classical and
folk, courtly music includes genres such as pansori, nongak, sanjo. The three
forms of Korean court music include aak, dangak and hyangak.
