Career
Vrapi started his
football career when he was a child; he played for KF Partizani Tirane and was
regarded to be one of the youngest Albanian talents at that time. He was the
captain of the Undder-19 national team of the country. He passed through the
ranks of the club, Partizani and later joined the first team of the club in the
2001/02 season, but he played no game for the club that season. This made him
to leave the club and join KS Lushnja, which was a weaker team in the superliga
to acquire some experience on the pitch.
While he was with the
club he immediately entered the first team of the club. He played 76 matches
for the club and scored the total of 4 goals for the club between the year 2002
and the year 2005. His good display on the pitch gained the attention of one of
the biggest club in the country, KS Elbasani to come for him. His most
successful season came at the new club, Elbasani at his first season with the
club in the 2005/06 season. He played the total of 34 games for the club and
scored two goals for the club and was one of the main reasons why the club won
the Albanian championship that season. After a successful spell in the club, in
the year 2006 he made a move to KS Teuta Durres, it was there that he almost
repeated what he did in his former team, Elbasani, where his club finished
second in the league table behind KF Tirana in the superliga.
After a season with
Durres, he joined KF Tirana, but it was a big mistake as the club struggled
throughout the season and finished in the 6th position of the
league. After a disappointing season with the club, he made his mind up to go
back to the club he ever enjoyed playing for, Elbasani. He was welcomed by his
team mates when he arrived at the club.
