Kazakhstan is the current state and it is a home to the Kazakh state Kurmangazy orchestra of folk instruments, the Kazakh national opera, the Kazakh state chamber orchestra, and Kazakh state philharmonic orchestra. The traditional instrument orchestra was called after Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, a popular composer and dombra player in the 19th century.
