During the late 1980s (prior to reunification) and early 1990s, synthpop and eurodance became famous throughout the Germany. Often, different patterns were combined in between these to attract a broad variety of spectators. Even now some bands perform (again) or new similar famous music projects are formed, following these earlier movements (R.I.O and Cascada being instances). Successful representatives of these styles were Sarah Connor, Haddaway, Captain Hollywood Project, Culture Beat, Modern Talking, Milk & Sugar, Mousse T., Milli Vanilli, Underdog Project, No Angles, E-Rotic, Lou Bega, Captain Jack, Mr. President, Sash!, and Snap!.
