Tagore. They have different features in the music of Bengal, famous in India
and Bangladesh, Sangeet means songs, Rabindra Sangget means Songs of Rabindra.

Rabindranath
Tagore was a towering figure in the Indian music. Writing in Bengali, he established a library of over
2000 songs currently known by the Bengalis as rabindra sangeet whose form is
mainly influenced by Hindustrani classical, sub-classical, Karnatic, western,
bauls, bhatiyali and various traditional songs of India. Many singers in the
west Bengal and Bangladesh base their whole careers on the singing of Tagore
musical masterpieces. The national anthem of India and national anthem of
Bangladesh are Rabindra sangeets.
