The toubeleki also known as “τουμπελέκι” in the Greek language is
a type of traditional drum musical instrument that is made of metal and has the
down side open and the upper side covered with an animal skin. It is mainly
played with bare hands and used often in the traditional Greek folk rhythms for
particular cover of the Greek laiko and rebetiko music.
