1944.he was an Australian filmmaker, an actor and a theatrical entrepreneur.
Arthur William Sterry was born in the city of Collingwood, Victoria
and his family relocated to Wagga Wagga when he was still a kid. When he was 18
years of age, Sterry moved to the city
of Melbourne and it was there that he worked for the J.C. Williamson Ltd
for some time and established his own drama company called Arthur W Sterry’s
Dramatic Company.
