Christopher Weekes was born on the 22nd March 1980. He is an Australian film director, film producer, an actor and a screenwriter. He is best known or the writing, directing and acting in the film called Bitter & Twisted in the year 2008 and for the topping of the Hollywood Blacklist in the year 2009 with his screenplay called The Muppet Man.

His film Bitter & Twisted, which had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival was the winner of the Australian Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress and was nominated for two Australian Film Institute Awards, an Independent Film Award as well as three MIFF awards.
