Biography

Miguel Ligero was born in the year 1911 in Rosario, Santa Fe. He was first seen in the movie of the country in the year 1938 and the film is called Caranchos of Florida. He was given the award of the best supporting actor for the role he played in Castigo al traidor and El ojoqueespía, both in the year 1966. He got the Martin Fierro Award for the Best Actor in a novel in the year 1965.

He worked with Luis Arata, Enrique de Rosas and OlindaBozán in the theatre and acted many seasons at the Teatro General San Martín.

Miguel Ligero died on the 1^st February 1989 at the age of 77 in Buenos Aires after he had a heart attack.
