argentine novelist, poet, essayist, historian and a biographer.

Early Life
Manuel Gálvez was a member of the leading patrician family of the city of
Entre Rios. He was educated by the Jesuits before he went to the University of
Buenos Aires and graduated in the year 1904 with a degree in Law. He worked as
a school inspector from the year 1906 till the year 1931.
While he was in the university, he assisted in the discovery of the
highly traditionalist literary review with the name Ideas, he became involved
with the Liberalism soon after he graduated from the university.
