Nabil Bentaleb was
born on the 24th November 1994. He is French born, Algerian
international football player. He plays the role of a midfielder for the
national team of his country and for the club, Tottenham Hotspur.

Club Career
He was born in Lille.
He began his football career at the academy of the local football club, Lille.
He was released from the academy of the club when he was 15 and he went to
Belgium to play for Mouscron. Bentaleb went on a trial with the team Birmingham
City before he signed with the academy of Tottenham in January 2012. Bentaleb
broke into the U-21 side of the club during the 2012/13 season and scored the
total of four goals for them after playing the total of 14 matches for the
club. His performance that season gained him a four-year contract at the senior
team of the club until the year 2018.
He was chosen to be
among the 18-man team of the club that played against Southampton of the 22nd
December 2013. He played his first match for the senior team of the club in the
game as he was brought into the match in the 50th minute if the game
as a sub for Mousa Dembele. Tottenham won the match 3-2. The first start he
made for the club was in the match that was played against Arsenal in the FA
Cup on 4th January.
International Career
On the 14th
November 2012, Bentaleb played his first game for French U-19 national team in
a friendly match that was played against Germany; they lost 3-0.
Even though he has
played for France, he was called by the Algerian Football Federation and some
sources said he has accepted to play for the Algerian national team. On the 15th
February 2014, Bentaleb pledged his future to play for the Algerian national
team. Some days after that, he was called by the national coach of the country,
Vahid Halilhodžić to take part in the friendly match that was played against
Slovenia. He played his first match for the Algerian national on the 5th
march in the game that finished 2-0 against Slovenia; playing for full 90
minutes.
