Mohamed Rabie Meftah was born on the 5th May 1985 in Tizi
ouzou. He is an Algerian football player. He is presently playing for USM Alger
in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

Club Career
Mohamed Rabie Meftah came through the junior ranks of JS Kabylie and he
gained promotion to the first team of the club in the year 2004. After some
seasons with the club, he became a constant starter in the team and forced
Slimane Raho to the bench and eventually put the door. In the year 2008, he was
named the captain of the cluib as he substituted the midfielder of the club,
Cherif Abdeslam.
He was named the top player of the club in the Algerian Championnat
National for the 2008/09 season in a vote that was organized by Maracana, a
daily newspaper.
At the end of the 2009/10 season, he announced that he was leaving the
club, even though his club qualified for group stage of the 2010 CAF Champions
League.
On the 20th June 2010, Mohamed Rabie Meftah signed a year deal
with JSM Bejaia.
On the 12 July 2010, Mohamed Rabie Meftah entered another deal with USM
Alger on a two-year contract.
International Career
Mohamed Rabie Meftah played his first game for the Algerian national team
on the 15th August 2006 in the friendly match that was played
against Gabon. He has played the total of five matches for the Algerian national
team since his debut in the year 2006. He was chosen to be part of the reserve
team by the national team coach, Rabah Saadane for the 2010 African cup of
Nations and the 2010 FIFA World Cup but never played any match for the country
in any of the tournaments.
He played the total
of four matches for the Algeria A’ team.
