Sevillanas
is associated to flamenco and most of the flamenco artists have at least one
classic sevillana in their
collection, the pattern derived from the medieval Castilian dance, known as the
seguidilla, which was changed with a flamenco pattern during in the 19th
century. Now, this lively couples’ dance is renowned in very session of Spain,
however the dance is frequently linked with the city of Seville’s popular
Easter feria.
The
area has also created singer-songwriters such as Carlos Cano and Javier Ruibal,
