Odise Roshi was born on the 22nd May 1991. He is a footballer from Albania. He plays the role of a midfielder for his club, FSV Frankfurt in the German 2.Bundesliga, though he can also play as a striker in the pitch.
Club Career
Roshi was born in Fier, Albania.as he was growing up he joined a football club that is in the city, Apolonia Fier. At the time of his youth age, he attempted to join PSG but could not achieve the dream of getting a contract to play for the club. He made his way through the ranks of his club and arrived into the senior team of the club at the age of 16.
Roshi played 5 matches for the club in the 2006/07 season. He was with the club, even though they were relegated to the first division football of the country. Getting regular time to play for the club at the first division, he was an important player in assisting of the club in finishing 2nd at the end of the league season and as such was promoted back to the superliga of the country.
His season in the superliga exhibited his talent and gained him a call up to play for the youth levels of the national team of the country. In the winter transfer window of that season, he left the club and made a move to Flamurtari Vlore.
With the new club, he was a major character that helped the club to lift the Albanian cup. At the time of the qualification round of the UEFA Europa League, Flamurtari were matched up to play against Motherwell, Scottish club side. Roshi played a good role in the match and scored an away goal against the club, though his team was eliminated from the competition. Roshi played 33 matches for the club and bagged 19 goals for them.
At the end of the season of 2010/11, there was speculation that was surrounding Anderlecht, Belgian club with the youngster and also german club 1.FC Koln with the player. On the 19th may 2011, Roshi made a free transfer move to Koln, the director of Cologne opined that the youngster is a talented player with a promising future as a striker.
Roshi played the total of 20 games for the club and he played most of the matches coming off the bench as a replacement. On the 5th of February 2012, he scored his first goal for the club in an official game that was played by the club. He came off the bench into the match on the 72nd minute of the game and gave his club a 1-0 victory in the match that was played against Kaiserslautern.
On the 6th of August 2012, it was publicized that the 21 year old winger has made a move to FSV Frankfurt on a year loan deal. Uwe Stover, the director of the club stated that the player has shown what he can do in the previous season and can add to the offensive movement of the club, FSV Frankfurt.
Roshi has played well for the club and has made assist in the match that was played against FC Erzgebirge Aue in the 3rd match of the season. He scored his first goal for the club on the 21st September in the match that was played against FC St. Pauli.
