Ensembles such as Iron Maiden, Slayer, Exodus, Helloween, Morbid Angel, and Dream Theatre have played in Singapore to receptive masses, at places such as Fort Canning Park and Singapore Indoor Stadium. Small to medium scale shows are held almost every week at places like BlackHotel 212 or Substation.
