Jani Kaci was born in the year 1952. He is aa retired footballer from Albania.  He played as a goalkeeper for Skënderbeu Korçë in the 1970s and in the 1980s. He was a member of the Albanian national team. He played six games for the national team of his country. He is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in Skënderbeu Korçë's.

He was coached his former team, Skënderbeu Korçë and he won the 2006/07 Albanian 1st division with the club. In February, 2010, he was called up to be an assistant coach of the club under the head coach of the club, Skënderbeu, he was in the position until the exit of the manager of the club in the 2009/10 season. He has gone back to his position in the club as the goalkeeping coach of the club. In the recent years, Kaci has also been the goalkeeping coach of the Under-21 national team of the country, Albania.
