Isli Hidi

Isli Hidi was born on the 15th October 1980. He is a goalkeeper from Albania. Currently he plays for Apollon Limassp; in the Cyprus First division. He is a member of the Albanian national team.

Club Career

Hidi began football career at the club in his hometown, Tirana in the year 1998. After making some appearances fior the team, he was loaned out to Bylis Ballsh. After a good season in the club, he returned to his club to fight for the first position in the team. He signed for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, a Ukrainian club in august 2007. In the year 2008, he made a move to Alki Larnaca for the remaining part of the season. He went back to the Ukrainian side on a three-year deal for approximately a million dollars on the 3rd March 2009. On the 6th July 2010, he went to Dinamo Tirana for the season. And in the year 2011, he moved to Olympiakos Nicosia.

International Career

Hidi played his first full international game for the country in the friendly match that was played against the polish national team on the 29th May 2005. He was invited to the national team by the German head coach of the team, Hans-Peter Briegel. The coach was impressed with his performance in  the superliga of the country. He started in the match but conceived a goal in the first minute of the game from Wisla Krakow. Despite the early goal of the match, he played well and ensured that he conceived no other goal in the match.
