Altin Rraklli was born on the 17th July 1970. He is a retired footballer from Albania. He played football as a striker. He is the coach of the women national team of the country since the year 2011.
He played most of his football career in Germany, where he played for 5 different clubs in both major levels of their football. He played for; SC Freiburg and SpVgg Unterhaching.
Football Career
Rraklli started his football career in the year 1987 with the club, KS Besa Kavajë, he entered the senior team of the club after three years. In the year 1992, he made a move to SC Freiburg, being an instrument in the Black Forest club’s first ever top flight promotion. He scored 16 goals for the club in that season.
In the next 8 seasons, the player was working in Germany, mostly in the 2nd division; Hertha BSC, SpVgg Unterhaching and SSV Jahn Regensburg. He also played in Turkey and his country. He retired from professional football in the year 2006 with the total of 111 German first division matches with 16 goals. He played 63 matches for the national team of the country and scored 11 goals for them and that made him the 2nd highest goal scorer in the history of the country’s football. He stopped playing football at the age of 39 in the year 2009 after a brief spell with German Amateurs SpVgg Bayern Hof.
Coaching Career
After active career,he went to his country and was made the coach of the women’s football team of the country. He is the creator of Tirana AS.
