KRU is the greatest successful hip hop group in Malaysia. Later bringing rap music to the people in 1992, they created their own record label making the first Malaysian girl group Feminin and R&B crooners Indigo. Feminine debuted at RTM Eid ul-Fitr unique in 1993 marking the beginning of the 90s girl group period.
