The zouk-lamabada which is also called the Lambada zouk or Brazilian zouk is orchestra that is closely related to dancing patterns that is based on or that evolved from the lambada dance pattern and it is typically danced to zouk music or other music containing of the zouk beat. The name of the Brazilian zouk is used to separate the dance from the Caribbean zouk dance pattern, which is historically related to, but it is different from the lambada dance pattern. The two dominant patterns of the zouk lambada are the Porto Seguro pattern and Rio pattern. The word lambazouk was originally used to mean to the dance pattern that is developed by Daniel and Leticia Estevez Lopez, while they use the term M-zouk nowdays (for Mallorca zouk).
