musica sertaneja or Sertanejo is a term for the Brazilian country music, the
music is said to have originated among the Sertao and musica caipira. Caipira
music appeared in the state of Sao Paulo, Mato Groso do Sul, Goias and some of
the regions of Minas Gerais, Parana, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. The
musical rhythm very spread out in the southern eastern and southern place of
the Brazil. For many years it was a category at the Latin Grammy Awards.
