The
world diablo refers to the devil in Spanish and it is probably the most popular
of all the Bolivian dances, thousands of the tourists comes each year to see Carnaval
de Oruo, which is one of the top tourists attractions in Bolivia. The instruments
originally used were those that attended mainly all Andean Bolivian music
kinds, the zampona (ppan flute made from reeds) and the quena (a vertical
flute). Recently professional Bolivian musical orchestras play it during
Carnaval and other ceremony, with the use of the flutes and pan flutes with the
drums, trumpets, trombones, and cymbals.
