Juan Carlos Baglietto

Juan Carlos Baglietto was born on the 14^th June 1956 in Rosario, in the region of Santa Fe. He is an argentine musician and a composer. He is one of themost prominent figure of the musical movement known as TrovaRosarina.

Juan Carlos Baglietto was a member of many small bands until he formed Irreal in the year 1980, consisting of himself, Juan Chianelli, who is a player of the piano, Jorge Llonch, a [player of the bass, the flute player, Pirana, Alberto Corradini, a player of the guitar and Daniel Wirtz the drummer. They drew the attentions of a large audience to their concert.

In the middle of the year 1981,Carlos Baglietto went solo as a musician. He made his debut that same year in Buenos Aires; he never got any breakthrough until he turned to the surprise hit of the 1982 Festival de La Falda. At this time, he was with a supporting group that has SilvinaGarre as the supporting singer, FitoPaez as the player of the keyboard, Ruben Goldin playing the guitar, Zappo on the bass and Sergio Sainz on the bass. He recorded Tiemposdificiles with the band, and that was the first argentine rock album to get the gold disc. Most of his songs like the Mirta, de regreso or Era en abril were often played on the radio stations of the country’s capital and this ignited the success of the concert Obras, immediately after the Falklands War.

In May 1983, a concert called El Rosariazo in Obras, of all the musicians from Rosario was arranged. Carlos Baglietto performed alongside LittoNebbia, SilvinaGarré y Fabián Gallardo. In November of the year 1984, Carlos Baglietto performed the show called "Porquécantamos", along with Celeste Carballo, NitoMestre and OvejaNegra.

Modeloparaarmar that was dropped in the year 1985 was the first disc since his work with FitoPaez, in which he tried making a break with the pattern that he had been linked. Because of this, Carlos Baglietto composed a new material. 

In September of the year 1986, Carlos Baglietto performed in front of 100,000 audiences at the Monumento a la Bandera in Rosario, Argentina as part of the festival for the Mil Dias en Democracia together with FitoPaez, SilvinaGarrey Antonio TarragoRos.

Mami that was dropped in the year 1988 was recorded after 1 ½ year of silence and was accompanied by the following, Sergio Sainz (bass), Eduardo Rogatti (guitar), Marco Pusineri (drums) and Rubén Goldín (vocals).

His album called Luz quintapenas that was dropped in the year 1996 was a sort of reunion of the musicians that accompanied him when he was starting AdriánAbonizio, FitoPáez, Jorge Fandermole and Rubén Goldín.
