Abdelkader Laïfaoui was born on the 29th July 1981 in Hussein Dey, Algiers. He is an Algerian international football player. He is currently playing the role of a right back for the club, USM Alger min the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. He can also play the role of a central defender on the pitch.

He has been part of the Algerian national team since the year 2004. He was part of the Algerian national team that played in the 2010 African Cup of Nations and in the 2010 FIFA World cup. He was also a member of the Algeria A’ National team that came 4th at the 2011 African Nations Championship that was held in Sudan.
Club Career
In December 2005, Abdelkader Laïfaoui was linked with a transfer to Club Africain in Tunisia. After agreeing on personal terms with the club and travelling to Tunis, the club, CR Belouizdad decided not to let the player go and an agreement on the transfer fee could not be reached.
On the 25th July 2011, Abdelkader Laïfaoui signed a two-year deal with the club, USM Alger as he joined the club on a free transfer from ES Setif. On the 14th April 2012, in a league match that was played against MC Saida at Saida’s Stade 13 Avril 1958, Abdelkader Laïfaoui was stabbed by an opposing fan that ran into the pitch at the end of the match. Because of the injury he sustained from the fan, he got stitches and spent the night in the hospital.
