Professor Dr. Ernst Décsey

Professor Dr. Ernst Décsey was born on the 13^th April 1870; he died on the 12^th March 1941. He was an Austrian author and music critic.

Professor Dr. Ernst Décsey was born in Hamburg and he studied Law at the University of Vienna. At that same period, he finished his professional training at the Vienna music school in the musical instrument called piano as well as in composition and in harmony.

He worked as a music critic at the Grazer Tagespost and after that he became the chief editor of the organization from the year 1899.

He was a teacher of the music history and esthetics at the music school of Vienna and he published a good number of novels, short stories, plays, biographies and libretti.
