Olga Engl was born on the 30th May 1871 in the city of Prague; she died on the 21st September 1946 in the city of Berlin. She was an Austrian stage and motion picture actress. She appeared in close to 200 movies at the time of her career in the movie industry.

Olga Engl got private education in a single-sex monastery and she started her career in acting at the Prague Conservatory. She made her first appearance with the role of Berthas in the play of the country called Die Verschwörung des Fiesco zu Genua in the city of Prague.
She moved to the city of Danzig in the year 1888 and it was there that she performed in the theatre from the year 1889 to the year 1892 and she moved to the city of Berlin for a short period. She performed with the court theatre in the city of Munich from the year 1892 to the year 1895 and from the year 1895 to the year 1897, Olga Engl performed at the Thalia Theater in the city of Hamburg and in the city of Hanover in the year 1897.
She made her first appearance in the British silent movie called The Adoptive Child in the year 1911 and she started appearing in many German movies. The first main role she took was in the movie called Richard Wagner of the year 1913, which was directed by Carl Froelich.
Her career in the motion pictures was set by the early part of the 1920s and she appeared in a good number of movies at that period. She kept on with her acting all through the period of the World War II, appearing in more than 10 movies from the year 939 to the year 1945. The last film she appeared on was the tiny role she played in the drama called Das Alte Lied, which was dropped in March if the year 1945. She kept on with little role in the stage of the city of Berlin till she died in the year 1946.
