Tristan Bancks was born on the 21st December 1964; he is an
actor and an author from Australia best known for the role he played as a Tug
on Home and Away between the year 1992 and the year 1994.

Tristan Bancks trained at the Sydney’s Q Theatre before getting some
regular roles on Home and Away. When he left Home and Away, Tristan Bancks
spent the total of 4 years in London writing, researching anf presenting TV for
BBC, ITV, Channel Four and Cablehe was the presenter of shows like Don't Try This at Home,
Sussed, and The Travel Channel.
He left London back
to his country in the year 1999 to appear in Ivan Sen’s short drama called Dust
and also Beneath Clouds and Remote Area Nurse. Since he got back to the
country, Tristan Bancks has made
some short movies as a director and as a writer.
Fr the past few years, Tristan Bancks has been writing full time. He has
written the total of 8 short stories in Macmillan's Kids Inc. series about the children
starting their own business.
Tristan Bancks has a sister called Kerryn who is a newsreader for the WIN
Television in Wollongong. He is married with two sons.
