Vienna; he is an Austrian cellist and a cello teacher. He was the solo player
of the musical instrument of the NÖ
Tonkünstlerorchester and the co-founder of the international chamber music
festival Allegro Vivo.

Josef Luitz spent his life as a child in the city of Gablitz near the
city of Vienna. His father was a music director of the 1. Gablitzer Musikverein. At first he was an
apprentice to a maker musical instrument. He started his career as a player of
the cello of the NÖ Tonkünstlerorchester and later
became a solo player of the musical instrument.
Josef Luitz was married with Mit Edelgard Sonja Luitz and they both had
two children; Joachim of the year 1967 and Angelika of the year 1968.
