Annie Rosar was born on the 17th May 1888; she died on the 5th August 1963. She was an Austrian stage and movie actress. She is best known for the roles she played in many Austrian comedy movies from the 1930 till 1960s. She always played the comic roles of nagging wife in most of her movies.

Biography
Annie Rosar was born in the city of Vienna into a farming family based in Orth an der Donau, near the city of Vienna. She made her first appearance in the movies of the country in the city of Vienna in the year 1910 and after that she moved to Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. When she came back to the city of Vienna, she played some roles at the Burgtheatre from the year 1917 to the year 1923, she played some roles in the Theater in der Josefstadt from the year 1925 to the year 1938 and some roles in the Volkstheater from the year 1939 to the year 1942 and from 1947 to 1951. She focused more in movies of the country after the war.
Annie Rosar got married to a business man from Switzerland in the year 1907, and they moved to Milan Italy together. They divorced and she got married again in the year 1930, though she still later divorced. Her only son from her second marriage was killed at the time of the World War II.
