Pacho O'Donnell was born in Buenos Aires to MarioAntonio
O'Donnell and Susana LucreciaUre. Pacho
O'Donnell is married to Susana Evans Civit and they have five children
together.
After the return of
democracy in the country in the year 1982, Pacho O'Donnell was named to be the secretary of Culture of the city of
Buenos Aires. He unsuccessfully ran vied for the position of presidential
nomination in the Radical Civic union primaries, though later he became a
peronist and was elected to the senate of the country for the city of Buenos
Aires. He was appointed by the president of the country, Carlos Menem to be the
ambassador of the country to Bolivia and Paraguay and also the secretary of
culture in the country. In the year 2001, Pacho O'Donnell was elected to the
Chamber of deputies of the country.
Pacho O'Donnell is presently engaged on the diffusion of the historical
knowledge of the country and he is part of the Neorevisionists School that
races the official reading of the history imposed in the country and wrote the
book called Historiaconfidencial.
Pacho O'Donnell was the man that received the Isabel
la Católica order from the Spanish King Juan Carlos I of Spain
and also got the Palmas Académicas in France. He was honored with the
illustrious citizen of the city of Buenos Aires by the legislature of the city
in the year 2009.
