born on the 1st November 1907; he died on the 3rd May
1951. He was an argentine tango lyrist, and a writer of the many famous tangos
of the country.

Homero Manzi was born in Anatuya on the 1st November 1907. He
was interested in the literature of the country and also the tango music of the
country since he was a young man. After a short stint in the practice of
journalism in the country, he worked as a literature and Spanish professor,
though for political issues he was expelled from his professorship and he made
his mind up to put his time in arts.
He took part in the beginnings of
the FORJA in the year 1935.
He was the founder of the Micrófono magazine that covered the subjects that are related to radio
telephony, argentine films and film production. He is the
man the wrote the screen play of the movie called Noblezagaucha in the year
1937, together with Hugo Mac Dougall and a fresh version of the silent film of
the year 1915.
In the year 19040, Homero Manzi started
a long collaboration with Ulyses Petit de Murat and they wrote
many screenplay for Con el dedo en el
gatillo
